The church construction is well underway with major support beams in place. The church should be open in June 2006 with Pastor Joseph Nguyen (pronounced "win") leading the congregation. Pastor Joseph Nguyen has a Doctorate degree in moral ethics and is the dioese spokesman for health care. The congregation boundaries are approximately 1/2 mile in all directions from First and Harbor. He will discourage out of area people from becoming parishioners at the church and will focus on meeting the needs of people within the immediate community. Parishioners will have to exit the church property by making a right turn onto Harbor Boulevard on Sunday mornings.
