Anybody knows what's going on with Cheasapeek deal ,are they drilling yet ?

This is all I know

Some residents have received letters saying that the revenues are coming when the check can be cut for $100.00. In other words, the check has to be that amount in order to issue a check. They aren't going to send checks unless they are substanial. I wish I could tell you more.

Write or call Chesapeake and get them to send you a form telling them that you want a check regardless of the amount. I have rights to six wells in White Lake Hills and get a royalty check every month because I told them I wanted a check regardless of the amount.

 

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SELL YOUR MINERAL RIGHTS TO COMPANIES SENDING UNSOLICITED LETTERS TO YOU OFFERING TO BUY YOUR MINERAL RIGHTS FOR PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR.

 

Obviously they know something we don't, because right now natural gas is cheap so we aren't getting much for our mineral rights. But eventually the price will go up, and so will our checks, and these shyster companies know that, or they wouldn't be sending us these unsolicited letters offering to buy our mineral rights for pennies on the dollar.

 

They aren't offering to buy your rights just because they like you -- they evidently know that the price is going to go up eventually, or they are confederates of Chesapeake and want to buy up the rights so they will have exclusive rights to their own wells.
