Recently, my home was vandalised in the worst way it was stolen from. After speaking with several neighbors all their comment were the same: The HOA members/board do not care? This is a shame. Multiple neighbors not even just two or three neighbors I have spoken with at least a half dozen and their responses were all negative everything from snow removal, to grasses or abandoned homes/unsold homes not being mowed/maintained etc. Many have been in my recent position and have been stolen from and or had vandals strike them as well! I think it is time for a change! Voices do make a difference. I encourage you to let your voices be heard! Do not back down. If you want change in the HOA get out and vote for change. Is there a CRIMEWATCH? Funny, I see signs posted everywhere but here nothing about CRIMEWATCH MEETINGS for the NEIGHBORHOOD! I am an community activist and have previously been a crimewatch aptain before Community policing makes a differences when we let our voices be heard if currently there are no active meetings I assure you there will be soon! I will not stand to live in a neighborhood in which vandalism, theft, & crime becomes an everyday occurence! I refuse especially since I know there is something that can be done about it and whom to contact! I would appreciate being contacted by someone if they know whom the current CRIMEWATCH CAPTAIN or RIVER RUN is? I would also like to know if it is an active group well, I can call to find out if active..If it is not I assure you it will be soon! Neighbors are fed up with this stuff! We need people to assume roles in leadership positions to be leaders not because you think it looks great on a resume! Really, do something about all the complaints as i am walking around the neighborhood there are oviously more complaints than just mine! This is not great it creates a divided community we need people with leadership skills that know how to work with other's. If you can't do your job by all means it is a volunteered position give it to someone whom can perform the duties!
If someone writes a letter to HOA by all means it should be answered within an certain amount of time! If there are valid complaints they need to be looked into not swept under the rug! Get on the ball!
