River Run Homeowners Association

I just wanted to say that I was reading alot of the post on-line and noticed that there were a few complaints that no one was replying to post on here. One problem might be is that like myself, I didn't know the site was here. Maye we need to pass out flyers or something to let more people know. I know I have a lot of complaints with the association and would have a lot to add as other would if they knew about this site.

I am the coordinator for this site. I started this site in 2006 and did pass out flyers, you are right there should be more flyers passed out. This site has between 400 and 800 hits each month. I believe it should have at least twice that many. I'm in the process of moving out of the neighborhood for awhile, maybe for ever? I could use someone to help me or to manage this site. Our Association is in deep trouble, and the troubles are getting deeper. One of these mornings the people in River Run are going to wakeup with a $1000.00 to $5000.00 per lot lawsuit to pay if they don't start paying attention to what is going on in River Run. We are overpaying our yearly assessments, they should be about half what we pay. Our Board of Directors oust themselves Dec 31,2008 when they never had a Annual Meeting in Dec 2008 to elect Board of Directors for 2009. We have no Board of Directors and have not had any since December 31, 2008. Board of Directors term is from Jan 1st to Dec 31st of the year they are elected for. It is illegal for the Association to do business without the correct number of Board of Directors.

I propose we hire another Attorney for the association, elect 5 more Board of Directors, since we don't have any, and approve a budget based on the previous years expenses like our Declaration tells us to do. This is all legal, for a change.
