The Ridge at Fox Run

Today, I talked to Bill Lewis 520-6485, an attorney in the County
Attorney's Office. He said that he is the County Attorney working on
the Baptist Road Rural Transportation Authority. He said that the
County is going to hold a meeting on the Taxing District at 1:30 p.m on
Friday, August 13, 1999 on the third floor at 27 East Vermijo. I will
probably go to that meeting.

Vote results

On Tuesday, November 2, 1999, voters in Jackson Creek and The Ridge at Fox Run on the north side of Baptist Road voted to defeat a proposal to impose a 0.4% sales tax at King Soopers and surrounding businesses. The tax would have been used to pay for improvements to Baptist Road. The vote was 19 votes for the tax and 29 votes against the tax.
This was a good first step for us to control development in our area.
