Where specifically were/are they?

They were/are at the corners of Bellemeade streets bordering Whipps Mill Road, also on the corners of properties  at intersections of streets within the subdivision... the ones at the intersection of Whipps Mill Road and Charing Cross are both still standing, others within the city have either been removed, or in some cases altered by the home owners.

They were/are just simple 3-board fences, about 10 ft long in each direction, but I think they gave a unifying presence to our city... when I moved here in 1978, most of them were in place and well-maintained, but over the years they have slowly disappeared.

I think along Whipps Mill Rd and Charing Cross.  That's a good idea.

Added to the list.

I think the grant committee led by Mister Bob did a GREAT job working thorugh the list of suggestions and prioritizing them.  Good job!  Thank you.  Is there a target date for painting the lines at the stop signs and the speed humps?   And, might I comment on what seems to be excessive speed and the "California stops" by the Jefferson County school busses?
