The article I wrote for the December,2003 newsletter stated that a sweep was requested for Redland Woods. This statement was not in the article that I submitted. I have never requested a sweep. A sweep can be requested by a neighborhood association. If a sweep was requested for Redland Woods, it would be placed on a list with other requests and then evaluated to determine which were the most appropriate to be done that year.Most sweeps are scheduled a year in advance.
