CHARLOTTE — You’ve likely heard the sound of cicadas piping up all across the Carolinas.

The cicadas aren’t just bringing noise. They’re also attracting predators that like to eat them, like copperhead snakes.

(I had one on my driveway last week.   I put the hose on it and it slithered away)!

If you see Rattlesnakes you are not allowed to kill them in NC.  You are supposed to take a picture and report them to the state for record keeping.  

Not all Rattlesnakes have rattlers.  Some never do and others come off. Some just have a stub.
