NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALES

What is it?

The Preston Woods Homeowners' Association sponsors 1-2 neighborhood garage sales per year.  The HOA places an ad in the Tulsa World and displays our banner at the main entrance along 111th Street.  Announcements are made via email and/or newsletter.  Often, arrangements are made for one of the local charities to make a pickup of your unsold items the day after the sale ends.

When is it?

The spring sale is usually held in late April or early May.  The fall sale is usually held in early October.  Each sale lasts two days: Friday and Saturday.  Friday sales start at 8:30am after all the school buses have run, and Saturday sales usually start at 7:00am.  Sales usually end at 3:00pm both days.  Charitable donation pickups are usually scheduled for Saturday afternoon after the sale ends, or within a few days after the sale ends.

What Do I Need To Do?

1) Clean out your closets and toy boxes!
2) Price your items.
3) Choose which day(s) you want to participate.
4) Have some money to make change.
5) Open your garage door.
6) Make some big bucks!
