Has anyone heard anything as to why the trains are continuing to sound their horns as they go through the Woodland Brook and Paces Ferry crossings. I spoke to a CSX employee at the Woodland crossing and he indicated that the engineer for the railroad may not approve this as a ''quiet zone''.

The reason that there are still horns at Paridise Shoals is that the crossing has not been closed to traffic yet and the crossing has not had double arms installed to prevent vehicles from crossing. At the Paces Ferry crossing there seem to still be engineers that forget not to blow. Or there are peo;le trying to cross on foot that need blowing at. I guess we should give them more time but it does seem to have been long enough.
