If you haven’t heard, today is Give Out Day, the only national day of giving dedicated to the LGBTQ community. We’re celebrating in a big way this year, and have none other than BIG FREEDIA performing a live concert on our Facebook at 12:00PM!

Big Freedia is the queen of bounce music and helped popularize the genre through her incredible talents as an entertainer, performer and songwriter. She’s worked with the likes of Beyoncé and RuPaul and we are SO THRILLED to be able to not only uplift her work today, but share it with all of you on this last day of Pride Month.

Freedia has lent her talents towards supporting ENCF’s Rural Youth Empowerment (RYE) Fellowship, our one-year leadership program that provides young, rural LGBTQ folks with the skills and resources to transform the culture of their hometowns. We believe that #TheTimeIsNow to support LGBTQ youth, particularly resource-poor communities living in more rural parts of our state.
