Break In Near Janet Bless Home

Posted in: Pleasantville Way Neighborhood Watch

I e-mailed the information shown in red to Ed, Rich (acouple of days ago) and Bruce (today).  After Bruce's posting "out of gas", I called him, to find out if he could describe the car he saw near his house. He said: "yes, it was a mid 80's grey Chevy, short box pickup."  After Bruce read the information below, he sent a second e-mail that said: "Same exact truck I described".

The break in happened at 150 Echo Drive, which is Merle & Donna Townsends home. They broke into the home sometime between 8:00 am and 5 PM.  They tried to enter through the front door,  but couldn't so they broke a side window.  They stole all of the guns that they had and a file box.   The Sheriff did come and take a report.  However we did have some witnesses to some suspect cars in the area and one going in their driveway and walking up to the front door.

The first vehicle that entered the property about 9:30am - 10:00am and walk to the front door was a late 70 to early 80 ford short bed pickup truck that was primer gray, which was jacked up high with big tires.  The driver was a white male adult in his 20s with sandy blond hair wearing sweats.  This was witnessed by a worker at the Petals home.

The second vehicle was seen driving slowly down echo and maybe Wildflower by Bill & Barbara Forbes.  This car was seen around 11 am today.   It was a Dark Blue Saturn 4 Door Sedan with a sticker on the back window.

The Third Vehicle  was seen driving through 173 Echo  Marvin & Jackies circular driveway beween  3 -4 PM today was an old Beige Toyota Pickup also jacked up with big tires and a loud muffler.
