New State Law for Maintenance Corporations

In September of 2009, a new state law took effect that has some big implications for Maintenance Corporations in Delaware. The biggest thrust of the law was aimed at Condominiums and Mobile Home Parks, but there are several items that apply to ALL Maintenance Corporations. I attended a presentation put on by The Civic League for New Castle County and learned A LOT !
Your Board of Directors is actively working on the items we need to address to get into 100% compliance of this legislation. The bottom line is that a "time out / stay" has been put in effect to give Maintenance Corporations time to get this work done.
