Line Section 2 - Weekly Update and Schedule

Upcoming events for the week starting January 28, 2006.

General Information

Segment 1 - Camelback to Campbell

The dry-up period of the Grand Canal ends on February 6, 2006. We will
install the cassions immediately thereafter. Gunite will be replaced in
the canal this week. Crews are beginning work on the 54" storm sewer on
the east side of Central north of the bridge. The new traffic signals
are being put in at Campbell. We are working on the new waterline
tie-in to the existing pipe. Traffic is being pushed to the west side
of Central from Thomas Road to the Grand Canal bridge per
recommendation of the City of Phoenix.

Segment 2 - Campbell to Indian School

Currently we are removing the trees, sidewalks and light poles. Crews
will start installing the waterline between Farrington and Indian
School. The west entrance to Steele Indian School Park will be closed
on Tuesday to allow us to install the waterline at that location.

Segment 3 - Indian School to Osborn

Crews are working on the sanitary sewer line along the east side of
Central Ave moving north from Osborn. They also are installing catch
basins in this area.

Segment 5 - Thomas to Encanto

Potholing and surveying continue.
