Tuesday night 5 cars parked in the alley to the rear of the block of North 37th Street had their windows smashed. At least 2 were reported to the Police by the owners.  A car was stolen on a friday evening or early Saturday morning about a week ago, at the rear of 454 North 39th Street-this car was parked right off the alley. A Valley Inn Patron was alledgedly robbed om a wednesday early evening after parking his vehicle while going in to pick up food. Seems we are having a spike in problems in the area.

Please keep an extra eye out when out especially in the evening,especially if parking in your garage or parking space. A scond shifter coming home did observe someone driving very slowly thru their alley around 12:30 am Wednesday morning, tey came thru twice it looked like they were casing the properties. They did not get a good enough look to report any specifics. When the driver saw someone was watching they beat it up St. Paul Ave. really quickly.

The other night while shoveling a couple of cars were driving very slow down St Paul to the park, down 42nd to the South, up 41st to the North, around the the north side of 42nd and then back up St Paul out of Piggsville.  People were out snowblowing and such so I'm guessing they were looking for something to take.

About what time was this, I only ask because we are trying to string some things together.

Also if anyone is aware of any recent unreported crime in the past few weeks, please post it here, a rough location can help, as well as time of day and a date or as close as possible, names do not have to be given. At least we can still get the stuff in the crime stats. that is used for patrol and deployment of Police in the area.
