When are they suppose to start on erecting the new community wall?

When they get all of the signatures to start with the drilling.

 

But I've been thinking, after watching lakes of river trails across the street repaint their wall, it made me realize that this wall thing maybe isn't such a great idea.  I mean, yeah it will look good at first, but what is going to happen after a few years and it needs to be redone??  Who is going to pay for the up keep.  We can't even afford to fix one little section that was knocked down almost a year ago? 

The wall is to be of a very nice, low maintaince type made entirely of poured-in-place concrete with dye in the mix for a permanant finish.  Very strong and long lasting. Only a very major crash, like an 18 wheeler, can damage it. The HOA will do their best to look after the wall. But, yes, our funds are very limited. We are always looking for volunteers and donations.

yeah, but that doesn't mean that it is spray paint resistant......
