Recently the County Road Commission put up "No Parking on the Pavement" signs throughout most of the neighborhood. In the spring there was a problem with high school students parking in our neighborhood during the day so a homeowner contacted the magistrate who then asked the Road Commission to erect the signs. This was not a request made by the board and we have asked that they be taken down. At this point County Judge Rothenberger says they will need to stay up as it is a County law and needed in case of an issue of enforcement. We can replace them with more attractive signs if we prefer.
As a side note, it was reported to the board by Judge Rothenberger that the sign place near the Benson Pike entrance was removed by someone. He asked that the sign be returned, no questions asked, otherwise an official theft investigation will be started.
