In the past 2-3 years there has been numerous Parkwood Neighborhood Home and Vehicle Vandalism during late-night and early morning hours...  I personally have had (3) vehicles broken into (Broken windows & stolen items), along with (4) other incidents of mine & Neigboring) houses and vehicles being egged, plus trash cans turned over in the street the mornings before trash pickup...  I also have noted that on many-many occasions I have (as have many neigbors) seen youths running the streets @ 2:00am-4:00am hours...  There has been a number of vehicle break-in and vehicle damage in just the past 2-months...  I have also heard that Hunters Chase is seeing the same Vehicle Vandalism during late-night and early morning hours recently...  What I don't see is any neighborhood security of any kind, nor have I heard of any instance where vandals or under-age youths being apprehended...  Seems that if we show cost payouts for on our HOA end of year statement Parkwood Neighborhood Security, that some of this vandalism would be prevented...

I completely agree with you! We moved here 4 yrs ago and never saw any vandalism until the last two years or so. We, thanks to God, haven't had any vandalism against our own vehicles but I have seen SEVERAL neighbor's cars being broken into. I live closer to the clubhouse and at night I sometimes see the yellow "security" Jeep parked on the further end of the clubhouse with the lowlights on (daytime lights) and then I see teenagers hanging out under the pavilion and this is like at 2-4AM!! Why isn't more being done about this?!

We are hoping to move this summer. We are looking at the Parkwood neighborhood. Are there enough positives to overlook the crimes being discussed? How bad is it really? TIA
