Parkchester Tenant Association

Is it me or is the security in parkchester a real joke. Case in point. I observed a group of young adults(teenagers) by the basketball courts near the oval that borders ParkchesterRoad and Unionport Road Shooting dice(crap) for money in the open with no concern or respect for anyone or anybody, least of of all security, who by the way observed the activity and casually let it pass. One security officer was on foot and the other on his bicycle. I was completely shocked at their casually non-chalant behavior towards such an activity. I continued to observe the activity and mentioned to the youths in question that such activity was inapppropriate and will not be tolerated, especially in the presence of the kids ages 8,9,10 11, and 12 years old. I know this to be the case because i have a child who plays in that area with his friends, all who live in the immediate area. As i noticed the same two security officer returning towards the area where this activity is taken place, i mentioned to them verbally of the incident. The female officer thanked me, which i thought was a nice gesture. However, to my shock and amazement neither one of the security officer made any attempt to intervene or mention to the youth that their behavior a violation or illegal.  They both just completely ignored me and proceeded up the steps to their base. I cannot emphasize the disgust i felt at that moment towards security, which facilitated my eagerness to discover this website and alert you their behavior. I might also add that this all took place in front of all those security cameras that are always monitored.  There are a few more incidents that i will share with you in the near future. I'd be curious to know of anyone else who has any thing they nedd to vent and share. We have to report this into;erable and unaccepatable behavior. FYI always get thier name off their tags.

Hi,i alwasy heard of how GREAT parkchester is to live and raise children here.But im getting the taste of what a load that is.Ive been here since 2011 and we installed carpet the same day we got the keys(COMPLYING WITH RULES) but it seems my above neighbor never had to get carpet.We called all kinds of hours since it sounded like  a parade up there,and we have an air guitar guy on the 1st floor.But until recently someone called me about banging on her ceiling,which im like so we called for 3 years it meant nothing but when she comes to your office this 1 time we re in trouble?!!! So i told the women that it wasnt us because everyone is out by 5am.We hung up.Then hubby sees this tenant and they discuss the no rug issue,she states she just got it but hubby said it doesnt seems like it,long story short they squash the issue by a hand shake while this women held the door open.the next month i get a letter about this violation and i spoke to someone the same day.They said security brought the attention discussion and considered this Harassment!!! so i was told WE are on probation.Next thing i know in the same week i get a letter of lease release..Still i call their office as calm as a cucumber and they tell me we cant do anything about it!!!!! WTF...why not then ..Im at a lost for words ..Given that if this should be a mistake since i cure my violations with their Vice President ,i will finsh out my 2 years and then im out..Im so disgusted,annoyed and frustrated with fake place...And the good part is they said THEY HAVE NO HISTORY OF US CALLING AGAINST HER!!!!! IM IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE...
