Pickerington Law Director claims Null & Void 1

Copy of a letter from City Law Director

Cooperation Pickerington style ---

Yes, that seems to be the question as to what prevails at 100 Lockville Road. Attached to this posting is the “evidence” that the cooperative nature of Pickerington Officials only works when they get EXACTLY what they want. In a letter from Pickerington Law Director, Bob Mapes, the City of Pickerington calls the Pickerington/Canal Winchester Sewer & Water agreement null & void.

Just for clarity – it should be know that the City of Pickerington, in its earlier “pre-annexation agreements” relative to numerous annexations within the Canal Winchester School District and in the “Steiger – Wirthman” Viola Park area, had previously entered into “susceptible” potential preaches.

Remember that Pickerington has always been invited to be a party to the CEDA, yet they have chosen not too.

Just day’s after this 10/22/01 letter Pickerington continued its annexation quest into area’s served by Fairfield County Utilities and stated the City wasn’t “really” going to duplicate services much....

Those that think they can “negotiate” with these Pickerington officials need to examine this evidence (in addition to the other histories) to see what is what! This is just the beginning of the information from case # 2001 CV 00778.
