Finance Committee does developers bidding

Picture

More city documents they don?’t want you to see!

To the right of this posting are the words of page #3 of the Finance Committee minutes of July 18th.

In total defiance and following the developer’s wishes the Pickerington City Council’s Finance Sub-Committee comprised of Lou Postage, Bill Wright, and Doug Parker are now “beefing” up the City’s building department for additional building inspector and construction inspection. Fully funded – or is it? How many school buildings and operating funds does this promise. Or bury us with!

Read on.... and open the enlargement. 197 homes by July 18,2002....... and they need to add to the staff.... The City was planning on only 200 homes for the whole year !*! Ya, right!

An additional 18 plats..... Additional to how many now and most importantly how may homes per plat ?!*#!?

Read on........ The developers are rushing through the process and the City Government officials are all too willing to staff up to beat the possibility of a citizen vote on the density, pace and “freebees” given to residential development...

Mr. Parker stated, “the petitions being circulated in the area regarding two units per acre is forcing a lot of this platting to come in now instead of in phases, and this is just forcing more and more work on our department.”

So Mr. Parker, Postage, and Wright who’s forcing you?
When do you think the people get their say?

Mr.’s Parker, Postage, and Wright! Who do your represent?
