Just in case any of you have a memory and believe that it is critical to learn from the past, rather than to just keep making the same stupid mistakes over and over again, read Ms. Lanes article and then remember the words of our 26th President.
Yup, the Republican Roosevelt said over a hundred years ago the following
''Every man holds his property subject to the general right of the community to regulate its use to whatever degree the public welfare may require it.''
Remember that area Republicans.
More houses than the schools can stand!
More taxes than the public can support!
More of the same that created the mess we?’re in!
I don?’t think so!!
Unless of course you?’re a Lee Gray, Bob Mapes, Bill Wright, Craig Maxey, Doug Parker, Brian Fox, Jeff Monebrake, Mike Sabatino kind of ?“Republican?”. Oh, I almost forgot their poster boy Judge McAuliffe. Check the PATA records on this site and you?’ll see the litter of these ignorer?’s of public welfare and abusers of Roosevelt?’s ?“general right of the community?” -- another way of stating ?– see what unfetter development rights can do to mess up an area.
I?’ve learned and I remember those who?’ve also learned.
I?’m a Republican, I vote, I keep informed and I intend to expose those so called Republicans that don?’t follow Roosevelt?’s beliefs and words.
