I was on Diley Road yesterday and saw a very interesting sign. On the north end of the project the Engineer has posted a sign with members of council listed on the sign.
What floored me was that Michael Sabatino's name was at the very top of the list.
I went back and looked into his voting record for this and how this project came about. First he voted against the project every time all the time. He campaigned with his neighbors in a referendum to stop the project and he is the only member of this council not elected.
No matter how you look at the listing there must be a sign here I am not getting. Didn't he just rail about ''value'' in getting your name on an article in the paper during an election year? Well guess what his name is on a sign in the right of way on a major road during an election year.
Clearly they didn't list the names alphabetically.
It appears the old guard still rule city and in their self promotion.
