Sabatino's might own property on Diley Road but that ground is currently zoned either Agriculture or Single Family. It would not be an automatic slam dunk for a Super America to be located there.
Township folks are just as vocal as Pickerington residents.

I believe others and I will be writing some letters soon once we have more information about Super Mike's voting history. I did find at the library yesterday that he had voted on P & Z to approve the 2001 Comprehensive Land Use Plan update. This update changed hundreds of arces on the west side of Diley from commerial to residential. The builders rushed in with their rezoning applications and now we have at least 2000 building lots avaible to be built on west of Diley. Simple math will tell you that 2000 more homes creates at least 5000 trips up Diley each day and Mike wonders why we need to improve Diley.

You may think very few people visit this site but it is visited by the Press to find out the local issues. Many times people post here that don't want to be identified and it gives them a chance to speak out and get their message to the public. Many times this site is a ahead of the local press on what is of concern to the residents of the area.

Don't ever under estimate the power of this web site.

Super Mikey's Motion

OK, remember folks, this would have become ballot language, or more accurately, ballot babble had it passed. It took me all morning to get this:

Motion:

To place before the voters of the City of Pickerington at the earliest possible election the following question:

''Shall the City of Pickerington acknowledge the concerns of over 500 registered voters which were certified by the Fairfield County Board of Elections who signed a Referendum petition referencing a portion of the Diley Road widening project and consider additional options for widening Diley Road from the Northern terminus that is just south of the intersection with Windmiller Drive to the southern end of the project at Busey Road?''

Well, speaking for this voter who didn't sign any petitions but is a registered voter, I do acknowledge their concerns.

There, are you happy? I feel for some of those residents DIRECTLY affected. They still have time to sell and get out. Since it appears that most of your realtors did not disclose the widening to you during your purchase, get the same realtor to sell it for you and move on.

Move to Sabatino-ville, or the Coffee Kingdom.
