The right to vote
I am telling you folks on the school Board Mike has something here. Just present an advisory election and everyone will feel better and you get a free pass on the school board. This doesn't raise or even address taxes it is a win win for everyone.
Here is Mike Sabatino's logic recorded today in the This Week newspaper:
''Sabatino said he believes the council majority knew the millage would be high enough and the process lengthy enough that a bond issue would not be feasible.
''I think that's right where they wanted it to be,'' he said. '' ... I think this was just a smokescreen to take away the people's right to be able to vote.''
You guys on the school just play dumb and put the advisory election in front of the voters. They all will retain their right to vote. It doesn't cost them anything and you can take pride that you have done your duty.
Those dirty majority dogs on council knew that the millage would be high. Maybe they were smart enough to figure out the millage before they asked. Those dirty dogs. Why can't everyone on the Pickerington City Council be idiots and not be able to figure where the city's revenues comes from. I believe Mike is still allowed to vote even though he has no clue of how much and where the money comes from that pay for police, roads and street crews.
