From reading the local papers, it seems the school board is considering redrawing boundaries. Can't they think of more productive things to do? Why wouldn't they eliminate the open enrollment and require students to attend the school which the current boundaries require them to go?
How many students are living in Central's boundaries, but have opted to attend North? And vice versa? Who has the numbers?
Are the current boundaries causing the ''have and have not'' attitude or is the optional open enrollment policy? Why were the boundaries drawn only to give each student an open enrollment option? Why is this option never mentioned?
What's going on?
