Assessments for Diley Road

I read in the Times Sun that if these petitioners lose the funding for Diley Road that the Mayor will consider a city wide assessment for the road improvements. Does that make sense to anyone. If that is $12,000,000 to do three lanes then that is about $350.00 per year household.

Sabatino is confident that he can find funding in the future.

If it is between losing the funding and never widening Diley Road then that is where I stand. If those idiots that live along Diley want to place all of their confidence in Mike Sabatino then let them breath the thousands of tail pipes that will be idling in front of their homes in the next few years.

WONDERING

Is it possible that the former manager, Ms. Bushman, is helping Mike, etc. with their dirty work? If Mr. McTigue is working for the referendum group, the City will not be able to use him for ascertaining if the petition is valid as they have in the past. Go figure!
