My sister said it all yesterday when she said that, ''Laura Bush never held a real job.'' Now there seems to a be a little uproar over those comments.

Laura Bush has always lived a sheltered life being a School Teacher, a Librarian, and now a sit on her butt stay at home mother watching the soaps all day.

Now they want Teresa to apologize. NEVER!!


It is difficult to listen to a person that has never had the responsibility of going to work everyday. How can anyone take her advice seriously? What does she really know? More than likely her talks are scripted and she says what she is told.


Look at these school teachers here in Pickerington. Now (mostly women)they want to dictate to the rest of us how we build our schools and they oppose the current bond issue that would have gotten our students out of the portables. They are so backward that they had to get a man (Randy Hughes) to be their spokesman.

Anyway I appreciate Teresa's candor and I hope she continues to tell it like it is.

Are you for real?

I have to seriously question what planet you are from if you believe a woman who has been a teacher, librarian and stay-at-home mother all rolled into one is a sheltered person, to use your term.
Yes, Mrs. Bush has a lot more money than most of us, so she can afford to not work if she chooses. In the past she has held responsible, respectable jobs, the most important of which has been as mother to her family. Apparently you do not put any importance on the raising of children, and the education of them, as those are the jobs that Mrs. Bush has held.
You say you respect Heinz-Kerry's candor. How is it candor when she has no clue as to what she is talking about? She has already said she did not know about Laura Bush's past work history.
What is/has been Teresa's work history? I do not know, nor do I care. Her current ''job'' seems to be as a rich heiress traveling the country to speak on behalf of her husband. Where's the reality in THAT job?
If you despise the President and his wife, that is your option. Perhaps the next time you can inform the rest of us in the Great Unwashed about it without resorting to a screed.

And to think he gets to vote

That is, if he can find his way to the right precinct.....

As we all know here has been an over whelming number of NEW voters registered to vote this year. Do to the unprecedented volume of voters the Ohio Secretary of State has moved to allow the Democrats to vote on November 3rd. This will allow more time for these disenfranchised voters to study their ballots and case the vote for the candidate of their choice.

So you Democrats please don't forget to vote on November 3rd and lets make your vote count this election season.
