I saw in the Times Sun yesterday a breakdown of the capital projects planned by the school board. Does anyone have an idea of what type of TV/DVD/VCR combo they are purchasing? At close to $1,400 each they must be nice.

Some info
I asked your question - here's what I found: The Television monitors are 32'' in size & not flat panel. They do have the capability to interface with computers. They are separate units from the DVD/VCR combo's. Units they are replacing are 13 years old & not compatible with computers, DVD or VCR players. The price in total includes the installation of the new units as well as the removal of the old equipment. By Central Parent |

Must not shop at Circuit City
Central Parent, Thanks for the follow up. I guess my original thought is still out there -- $1,400 seems a bit rich for what is available out there. According to the Circuit City web site you can buy a 32'' RCA TV with stereo audio and component video input designed for computers for $374.99 and a DVD/VCR combo unit from Sony (most expensive DVD/VCR offered on the web site) for $180.00. $555 for the important equipment leaves almost $845 for the install /deinstall. Was this put out to bid? If not, who is the contractor and what is the connection to the board? |

School Board
You shouldn't question the school board since they are up standing ethical members of the NW RINO club and only have your best interests at heart. |
