Now that the former Pickerington City Manager has moved to the City of Columbus to work we now see Columbus awarding UNBID contracts to campaign contributors. Some how the public must be protected from this arrangement. Currently it is not illegal but it stinks to high heaven.

Are you surprised?
I can't imagine for one minute that anyone is surprised by this. And the ''distinguished'' mayor of Columbus doesn't know a thing about it! That would be funny if it weren't so sad.

Plausible Deniability
First lesson learned by all politicians -- Let your subordinates know what you want so they can take care of it without telling you about it. You then can 'deny' all knowledge of a negative event if it becomes public and express 'outrage' that it occurred.
