Continued Trustee Ineptitude
Yes indeed Lisa Ross has been in this from the start. Kudos for remembering all the dirty little details Ms. Ross.
If you want to see what the trustees will have you suffer in the near future, you needn?’t look any further than Spring Creek. An endless sea of condos and spec homes with only a few narrow passages for any conveyance to travel (conveyances times three or four-hundred per subdivision). I recall the trustees telling us how good it?’s going to be for the community and how the Spring Creek rezoning would keep the city from annexing. Hmmm. Wonder when that?’s going to be settled by the courts.
To stop these large land-owning trustees in their tracks I believe we?’re going to need around 1,500 signatures to let them (Terry & Harry) know we?’re serious. <<<< REFERENDUM >>>>
Any sixth grader can do the math. We?’ll all be buried in homes if we let these developers build at anything close to 2 per acre. PLSD will be further buried and more financially burdened too (Athletic booster parents, PTO - are you out there?). As a matter of fact, anything more than 1 home per acre will still overwhelm our roads ?– those roads that aren?’t already overwhelmed, that is.
Has anyone tried making their way east on SR204 at about 5:45PM recently? You know, like the evening commute home after a long day at the office? Well don?’t complain to Bill Yapel or the trustees. They?’ll tell you it?’s ODOT or anyone else but THEM that can help solve your traffic problem. Never mind that they created it! That Harmon Rd. traffic light backs eastbound cars & SUVs past Summerfield! And Terry Dunlap was telling us how much of a convenience that red, yellow and green thing was going to be to us all, especially those bus drivers from Laidlaw. Oh yeah, lest we forget about turning left from Milnor Rd. to SR204 at 8:00AM? You wait and wait and wait until finally, you put your career ahead of your LIFE and pull in front of anything that looks like it will not plow into you at 50mph!
Yes indeed the new High School and all those ?“little?” rezonings has created quit a few problems. And those problems our inept trustees created are already overwhelming our infrastructure. We?’ve got to get Terry, Harry and Yapel out first, then put together a team that will work for ALL of us. Right now, they?’re not in it for us.
TERY DUNLAP, HARRY MYERS AND BILL YAPLE MUST GO!
When we come to grips with that, then we can begin to turn things around in Violet Township.
