Sabatino's might own property on Diley Road but that ground is currently zoned either Agriculture or Single Family. It would not be an automatic slam dunk for a Super America to be located there.
Township folks are just as vocal as Pickerington residents.

I see where Mike Sabatino is still not believing the rest of the council and ODOT. It appears Mr. Sabatino is ducking his responsibility in why he voted to rezone all of the homes west of Diley. He is quoted in ''This Week'' as a non believer of the fact that new homes cause more cars on Diley. I guess if you live in a house with a two car garage and both adults go to work in the morning it would stand to reason that it will have 4 trips each day per house to get to work and back. Yet Mike doesn't want to accept his responsibility in the traffic problems of Pickerington. He has voted consistently with Parker and Wright to rezone property approve final plats and approve the 2001 Comprehensive Land Use Plan out of Planning and Zoning.

Are we in the trouble we are because of people like Mike who refuses to use the information from studies and experts and he makes his decisions based on his own opinion? I believe that was labeled the Parker Doctrine a few years ago. You are elected to council by the people to vote as you want to once there. Now when the political heat comes to bare on Mike he wants to again ignore the reality and waste millions of tax payers dollars to satisfy his own family members concerns that own property along Diley Road.
