Schools will go to Columbus
For those of that think the Pickerington Local school district can never be affected by the Columbus City school District I think you need a strong shot of reality. Last week in the Columbus Dispatch they had an article about the Win-Win program coming to an end. Most of this limited audience didn't notice that in the former Canal Winchester school district which was annexed by Columbus now is in the Columbus School District.
Oh where is that? Right next to the Pickerington School District at the Corner of Bowen and School House Roads. So if the builders can successfully drive Pickerington/Violet Township and their school district into default then they will be given to the Columbus School District just like they are trying to do in the Dublin and Hilliard school districts.
