I read in the Lancaster Eagle Gazette that Lou Postage and the crew are leaving town after naming everything that didn?’t move and city owned after each one of the suspects.
Isn?’t it fitting that we now have a skate board ring named after Randy Hughes? Wasn?’t Randy the Mayor in charge when he made the statement at council that he would like to lay up in the woods with a high powered rifle and pick off the young punks doing the vandalizing? He added that he would let them lay there till morning. Yet they name the skate park after him. Are we inviting vandals or what?
They named the town square after Joyce Bushman. Here is a person that claims to have been carrying out City Council Policy and she gets the towns squared named after her because she did her job. She also was receiving over $100,000 of taxpayers money each year to carry out these polices. Clearly the new city government now should have some real guidance of where any new roads might be routed through. I can see Center Street being widened to 10 lanes.
Postage on the other hand has devoted nearly 20 years to the Pickerington City government. He was deeply involved with the school system and we should all honor Lou for his service. However when you start feeling sorry for the guy he screws up and he continues to show his ineptness. They named some Lou Postage Plaza after Lou. Can anyone tell me where that is?
Wouldn?’t it have been more fitting to have allowed the new city government to have taken office and after the hard feelings had subsided then propose naming something of value after the former Mayor and Councilman? Wouldn?’t it have been more appropriate to have allowed those in this community to let their anger cool before rubbing their faces in it once more? I think the memory of Randall Hughes and Louis Postage will not be forgotten for a long time by me or the many people in this city for a very long time because we will all be paying for their incompetence for years to come.
Instead of allowing the New City Government, elected by an over whelming majority and a record number of voters, to make the decisions on future debt Mayor Postage has passed a number of budget busting measures just before leaving office that will require some more expenses to correct next year. For those of you that don?’t know we will continue to have three members of that regime continue to serve. So that you don?’t forget them they are: Parker, Wright and Sabatino. I also understand that Maxey is wanting to apply for the open council seat. What is wrong with these guys?
It is almost criminal of what Lou Postage and his cowardly councilmen are doing to this city just prior to leaving. I would add that after the first of the year. There will be a new city government. Lou you better damn well had better have covered your tracks over the years. You better think about paying the loan off to Daryl in the next few days. Lou think about these three little words
