What happened at the Pickerington City COuncil meeting last night? Was it a dog and pony show? Did they approve the Sewer plant expansion?

Love Fest 2003
It was a complete love fest last night. Mayor Postage was passing out plaques and certificiates like it was the 4th of July parade. He got quite a few momentos also. We now have Randy Hughes Skate Park, Bushman Square and Postage Plaza. It took an hour to get through all the hoopla. The 3rd reading of the Sewer treatment plant passed last night though - no surprise. However, drum roll please - it has to wait 30 days before it can be signed, or NOT, by then Mayor Shaver. It is pretty safe to assume, given his outspoken feelings about the treatment plant expansion that he won't be signing that into effect. |

Burst Your Bubble
Sorry, guys, but imagine current Mayor Postage probably signed the sewer legislation last night. That is the usual process; however, it takes thirty days to become effective since it was not passed as an emergency. Might be wrong, but afraid I am right. |
