Mr. Fox - a- Political zero

Posted in: PATA
A politician is someone who continues to babble on for the sake of image and has zero integrity, concerns and ethics. They accomplish nothing. A statesman is someone with a vision for the future and has the ability to explain, negotiate, and compromise to get to the goal of the greater good.

With all this said, Councilman Brian Fox is a politician of negative integrity, zippo concerns (other than self), and completely lacking ethics.

Let me give you yet another example of Mr. Fox?’s own words to support this conclusion. 10/9/02 Pick Times-Sun ?– on the sleazy reconsideration of an old ordinance and re-pass the same by emergency - (ALL TO AVOID A REFERENDUM ON THE SUBJECT) ?–

Councilman Fox said he would not have supported the new ordinance because the city?’s citizens have the right to control what happens in Pickerington, even if they make the wrong decision.

Let?’s see sly fox, did you even second Shaver?’s motions to allow Initiatives and Charter changes to the tougher petition efforts?... that?’s a NO. Did you vote against any of these plats?.... that?’s another NO. Did you vote against any of those annexations ?– pre-determined zonings, tap fee inducements, or emergencies? that?’s three more No?’s.

Since everything on this Council passes by a 6-1 vote (except for the ?‘honorable?’ abstentions from those not wanting to get caught) and Fox isn?’t the 1. And where everything of merit used to pass by 7-0 before Shaver, your caught Mr. Fox. You?’ve voting history is the determinant of your stance. You are no Statesman and in the light of day a below average politician.

Maybe the wrong decision the city?’s citizens have made is to allow you to be in office.

Politicians and Statesmen Differ

Sir,

At the county wide Township Trustee meeting a month or so ago a majority of the trustees visited with me after the respective speeches and question answer session. One Republican trustee asked me if I knew the difference between a Politician and a Statesman. I said ''No'' and he proceeded to tell me. ''A politician is like your competitor, he will do everything and anything he can to get elected and to stay elected. You, Mr. Noll, are a statesman, a man who only wants to be elected so that he can make things better for future generations. Mr. Noll, you have a plan and I will support you.'' He then told me that he thought that he was quoting Thomas Jefferson. I hope he was right. Please vote from your heart on November 5, that's the most priveledged right that you or I have.

Hopefully I am not the only one looking for a public servant. Politicians and statesmen aside, I want to talk to elected officials who feel themselves as public servants - representatives of the electors. Not representatives of Mr. Berry, Mr. gray et al, but MY representative who will conduct the business of the city in a manner the citizens want.

Politicians and statesmen talk talk talk. I want action! I want controlled growth! I want the city, township and school district to UNITE as a community! I want leaders who wil lead and not be led!

I want these psycotic self serving monkey boys OUT OF OFFICE!
