All parents know you need to keep infants in a baby car seat when traveling within Tampa neighborhoods.  The NTSB just had a 2 Hr panel discussion about this that is on cspan video.  They said the rates of car seat use has gone up in the last 10 years but some child age populations (namely older children) are less compliant with recommmendations and the rates of injury are much higher.  Read about the panel discussion and further actions by the NTSB to reduce child brain injury during auto accidents.
