Adopt-a-road volunteers

Posted in: Gaffney Lane
April 21st is Oregon City clean-up day, and to be apart of it, Gaffney Lane N.A. will be picking up trash along Meyers Road and Gaffney Lane within our boundaries. We are looking for volunteers. We will be meeting at Gaffney Lane Elem. school on Sat., April 21st at 9am.

We want this to be the kick-off for hopefully a new ''Adopt-a-road'' program that Oregon City is trying to do as a partner with Clackamas County.

To adopt-a-road, a group of people have to be committed for at least 1 mile of road, and promise to pick-up trash at least twice a year for a minimum of 2 years. The program will provide the ''Adopt-a-road'' signs, plus all the grabbers, vests, traffic signs and bags to do the clean-up. Help us be the first group to start this program in Oregon City!
