Pooh Pooh

With the increase in multifamily housing units comes a decrease in yard area. Wonderful people move into these units along with their dogs.

These dogs are taken for a walk and they POOH. One dog = one POOH - many dogs = POOHPOOHPOOHPOOHPOOHPOOH.

Just take a stroll along Burnside between 172nd and 176th. POOHVILLE. POOH everywhere-even in the middle of the sidewalk.

Many of these dog owners are responsible - I know because I see them with an Albertson's or Safeway plastic bag dutifully picking up after their best friend but many more are not. This is obvious by the multitude of piles aligning our Rockwood Neighborhood sidewalks.

This situation is not only unsightly but can be unhealthy to both dog and man.

Questions:
What can be done?
Are there concequences?
Legal?
Moral?
Who should take responsibility?

I own three dogs. I pick up their POOH from my yard and I always have a plastic bag with me when we walk. Do I like to pick it up - NO. I like to step in it even worse

Let's talk about this issue.
