The irrigation heads need to be adjusted. The direction of the water on many of the heads are hitting the roads. I would suggest turning the system off until this is corrected and something is done about the weeds, crabgrass, etc. Also, the trees are in poor shape. There are many dead branches and an entire tree is missing at the main entrance - right side. There has been a missing lightbulb(s) for the brick sign at the main entrance for over the last year. Many weeds are mixed in with the flower beds at the front sign. This does not give a favorable impression of our neighborhood from Elks Lodge Road.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe that a few bulbs were intentionally removed from the lights at the front sign because there were complaints that it was too bright.

I was not aware of the bulb situation. Wouldn't that be a safety hazzard to have sockets that have no bulbs in them?

It shouldn't bea safety issue assuming that the lights are watertight (as they should be if they are placed outside) in which case it would probably be just as, or even less dangerous than one with a bulb in it. If you're worried about kids poking their fingers in or something... well, tell your kids not to open up lights and poking their fingers in the sockets Tongue out

Speaking of landscaping, however, I am getting very tired of the weeds -- most of the time they are allowed to grow high enough to make them unpleasant to walk through (especially in the morning when it's wet) and they just look horrible. I also wouldn't be very surprised if there were ticks in there.

Somewhat random fact, if you look about straight west of the circle in the field, there are mushrooms growing that are probably half a foot across...
