Both concerns are covered in the by laws.  The statue is covered in Article 5, Section 2(approval)part A.  It is page 20

The fence is covered under Article 8, Section 2 Part M(Fencing).  It does state the "fences cannot exceed 5 Feet and shall not extend past the rear corners toward the front of the house".  This one would be tough to enforce because a lot of people including board members have fences that extend past the rear corners. I frankly don't care, but maybe an amendment should be put it to change it, if they want to enforce it

Hope this helps

Who's law says you can't have a fence over 5 feet, the private fences are made at 6 feet tall.

Do you know the date of that meeting--our permanent residence is in PA and we do not always get the latest news--PS I'm a grandma--swing sets are part of my MO --they are part of family life--I'm an artist too, but I don't think a 5' Venus deMilo belongs in a Delaware backyard--thanks for letting me vent--

That did help--however the covenant we[ and another neighbor] received does not have the 5' height restriction--Our neighbors and we were fairly new homeowners to Orchard Hill --that height restriction is not in our homeowners rules.
