ATTENTION DOG OWNERS

Posted in: Shadow Creek
Please have some consideration for your neighbors and do not leave your dog(s) outside to bark all hours of the day and night. Amazingly, some people just don't enjoy the tantilizing sound of a barking dog. Thank you!

Dog-Gone It

As long as we're on the subject, it appears my yard is attractive to dogs on the loose or on leash. Consideration of others' yards with respect to allowing dogs to mess in them should be paramount to dog owners, but for some reason there are a few owners whose IQ must match the length of their dog's tail in inches when it comes to this issue. Being a previous dog owner I know that it is possible to 'clean up' after your dog - better yet, don't allow it in other's yards at all - it really doesn't belong there - it's your dog, not theirs. Applying the ''golden rule'' to most any neighborhood situations seems to make sense: Would you want someone else to do the same to you/yours?
Tell me if it is my dog

Could you be a little bit more specific on where the problem dog lives. If it is my dog I will definately take care of the problem. I think any dog owner would appreciate being directly told that something there doing is doing is a problem. Also remember that we live in the middle of two kennels. I hear barking especially at night from the kennel that is to the south of Courtland.
The Barking

Unfortunately we do have kennels near us but the barking of those dogs are somewhat off in the distance. However, the 2 German Shepards that live on Greenville are driving us insane.
