Many of us, in our respective tracts, have met and socialized with our neighbors within our own tracts. (I live over in the Fairhaven Tract.) We all know how fun it is to see what other Eichler owners have done with their atriums, for example. What would you think of an organized effort to invite other Eichler owners to each others' neighborhoods? Perhaps from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on a given Saturday, certain homes could be featured and then on another day, someone in the other tract could reciprocate?? Does this sound like something we would all enjoy? [It sure would be a great incentive for getting the house cleaned, eh?] Please share your thoughts.

Eichler Home Tour

Gary, this sounds like a great idea, though it might conflict with the Eichler Home Tour we are planning in May. From the Announcements section of my web site:

Feb. 8, 2000
"EICHLER HOME TOUR. The Eichler Home Tour organizing committee met Feb. 6th and it was decided that the date for the spring home tour will be Saturday May 6, 2000. Homes from all three tracts will be featured and the cost will be $10.00 per ticket. Proceeds will go to Friends of the Library for much needed library improvements. Watch this space for information on ticket sales. Many volunteers will be needed for this event so please contact Stephanie Raffel at (714) 637-8800."

And yes, we still need volunteers!
