Welcome to Old West Tampa Crime Watch. Our boundaries are Rome & Green Street, Columbus to Armenia. West Tampa was first incorporated as a City in 1895 and once ranked as the fifth largest city in Florida.

It has all the amenities of small town Florida set within a unique urban landscape. Historic commercial buildings abound and there is a wealth of traditional housing. Homes, cigar factories, social clubs and neighborhood stores fit hand in glove, reflecting the days when people walked or took a trolley instead of a car.

Today, $400 million of new offices, shops, restaurants, and homes are in the works. Young professionals, young families, and empty nesters are discovering the value, convenience and tradition of the West Tampa National Historic District.
