Old North End Neighborhood

I thought I'd add my two cents after reading the fall newsletter and feeling somewhat distant from the 'issues' written about. I'm not the only one I see as this link doesn't seem to be used. I thank Cathy and Randy for their excellent and tireless work on the behalf of the neighborhood. We need to get more people involved which is why I thought of the block party sponsered this past summer by a few wonderful families on Caramillo. It was so well attended and of the hundreds present our family only knew a handful of others! Can't we have some sort of meeting/get together at Steele Ele. a few times a year? It needs to be organized to help us get to know each other. Just wondering.............

Block Parties

I agree. We have been in the neighborhood for two years and we know our immediate neighbors, but few others. I would be interested in helping put something like this together if you would like.

There are several of us north of Penrose who have talked about putting together a block party this summer. I would be very interested in talking to the persons who put together the party on Caramillo for info on procedures, notifications, etc, that would make it easier to arrange such an event.
