I'm certain everyone has noticed the addition of 6 lovely wrought iron trash receptacles on West Saint Catherine Street -- 3 "Limerick", and 3 "Old Louisville" -- as the WSCNA encompasses both of these historic districts!  Additionally, our much anticipated tree plantings are completed -  we got 35 new street trees.  These trees will require watering throughout the summer during the first few years of planting, so please help out whenever possible.   As usual, these projects were funded by our councilman, George Unseld, with monies from the 6th district discretionary funds.  Councilman Unseld has been a tireless advocate for our association, and  I can only hope that he will retain his seat in the next election.

If you haven't done so already, please convey your thanks to Councilman Unseld for his continued generosity on our behalf.

Thanks!Cool

Rhonda
