Someone broke into our back yard and try to take our ladders, the ladders were half way out of our gate, also someone was sitting in one of our lawn chairs in the back patio, when I turned the patio light on I saw someone run and jumped the fence.  This isn't the first time someone breaks in.  We have been broken into 3 times on our cars.  We have never reported it.  We need to keep an eye on each others homes.
