Forum Update - NRC West 2002! - By Maureen O'Rourke

Dec 11, 2001

Mark your calendars for June 6, 2002. OSU DIRECT and The Salvation Army are teaming up again to offer the Second Annual Neighborhood Resource Connection (NRC) conference to the West region of Columbus ?– Franklinton, Hilltop and Westland neighborhoods. We are happy to announce that the conference will again be held at COSI Columbus this year! We love COSI! What a great community partner, and what a cool place to have a conference. The 2002 Planning Committee has been small but dedicated. Thanks to each of the committee members, the planning process has been smooth and fun.

We took the advice of last year?’s participants from the evaluation and added a few things! The format will be similar to last year?’s conference, but this year we will have more topics, more Roundtable Presenters and more Roundtable sessions. We have been able to lower the cost this year to an economical $20.00 Registration Fee per person thanks to the sponsorship of Fifth-Third Bank and the City of Columbus. The cost includes, again, Continental Breakfast, Lunch, Parking, Conference gift and materials as well as door prizes! Contact me for more information about NRC and how it can be advantageous for you to participate. To get on the NRC mailing list in order to receive conference registration materials mailed directly to you., please contact me. Last day to register for NRC West 2002 is May 30th.

The next OSU DIRECT Advisory Council meeting is Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at the Franklinton Library. If you are not currently receiving our Advisory Council letter of invitation every other month, but you would like to be on our Advisory Council mailing list, please contact me.
