If you were to drive by today, you would see that station 20 is undergoing an extreme station makeover! Their district is very diverse. They respond on medical calls, fire alarms, commercial manufacturing buildings, and wildland fires. Keeping the Southwest side safe!

STATION 21 - RED SHIFT
Today I would like to introduce the crew at station 21. Station 21 is located at 3240 S.W. 29th st. There is an A.L.S. (Advanced Life Support) engine located there. A.L.S. means that all the crew are E.M.T. certified, but there is also at least one Paramedic and life saving drugs on board. The folks in this area are in good hands.

STATION 22 - RED SHIFT
We've been south for 3 straight stations. Time to head north. Station 22 is located at 333 N.W. 92nd (close to I-235 and Britton). Loacated there is an A.L.S. engine, a rescue ladder, and a light rescue unit. A light rescue unit has a smaller selection of the same types of tools that are on a rescue ladder but it is a lot more mobile. It can respond in tighter quarters and saves wear and tear on the big rescue ladder when making those long responses up the turnpike.
