Mrs. Lundquist was asked to lead a group of concerned citizens in their fight to keep a proposed extended stay motel out of our back yard. In a weeks time she, along with two associates, had put a team of neighbor's together, alerted area businesses and schools and gathered over 1,000 petitions voicing their opposition to the "Transient Hotel". In the process of this battle to keep our neighborhood safe she met many wonderful new people. The group met with government officials and registered themselves as an official neighborhood association in 2004. They celebrated their victory by having a block party/safety fair. It was a huge success. We have a wealth of experience between us, we'd love to hear your views.
